We Believe ...
- In the Eternal Godhead (the Trinity) consisting of Father, Son and
Holy Spirit.
- In the entire Bible as the inspired Word of God, and as the only
basis of authority in all matters of Christian faith and practice.
- In the virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, who is truly man and
truly God.
- That when the Lord Jesus Christ died on Calvary’s cross, He
died for the whole world; that through His substitutionary atonement on
the cross, all who accept Him as their personal Savior have, by faith
in Him, eternal life as a free gift from God; that there is salvation
in no other way; and that all who reject Him as their substutionary Savior
are eternally lost and doomed to eternal punishment in the lake of fire.
- In the convicting, regenerating and guiding power of the Holy
Spirit, and the responsibility of the believer to walk in the Spirit
according to God’s holiness.
- That the Church of Jesus Christ is one body composed of all true
born-again believers; that Christ in heaven is its only head; that the
Holy Spirit is the divine representative of Christ on earth; and that the name of
Jesus Christ is the only true gathering center for believers on
earth.
- In the ordinances of water baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
- In the bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and also in the
bodily resurrection of the believer at the coming of the Lord Jesus
Christ for His Church.
- In the imminent and pre-millennial coming of the Lord Jesus for His
Church, and thereafter in His personal and visible return with His
saints to the earth to set up His kingdom in righteousness.
