January 2009 – Grace & Truth Magazine

I really liked your Feature articles on Advent meditations from around the world (Dec. ’07). All of the concerns mentioned in the articles touched on issues currently affecting my country, such as ethnic cleansing and tribal clashes. It was like a wake-up call for us to more earnestly pray for our country as well as the others mentioned. — Kenya

I am sorry to hear of the big increase in postal rates in your country. I cannot help financially, but I will pray that the Lord raises up givers to supply your need. Your magazine is of great importance to us. After reading, I circulate them in hospitals and prisons. — West Indies

I so much enjoy your good magazine. When I receive it I turn first to the You Asked article because each answer blesses me. Please renew my subscription so I can continue to understand and grow in Bible truth. — Nigeria

I have been reading your magazine for two decades. I used to get them from a friend who also got them from a friend. They have been back issues, but a real blessing nevertheless. But now I must request my own subscription so that I can continue to be blessed, and also be a blessing to others. I especially appreciate the Family and Serving columns, but read all of every issue. — Singapore

Some time ago I complained that I couldn’t use the Discover department as a weekly guide for my Sunday School class because your magazine was a monthly. Then the Lord told me to save each month’s lesson on Hebrews until that study was completed, and then use them for a 12 week study. We just completed the best Sunday School series ever. I photocopied the pages and passed them out to be completed at home, then we discussed our answers in class. What a learning tool! I’m now saving lessons on Old Testament women. — USA

Your magazine is touching many lives in my area. We are using it in much of our church work. The Emphasis entitled “He Will Return Victorious” (June ’07) jolted me back to living with His imminent return ever before me. — Nigeria
